Giveaway Days
In March 2022, LGBTQ Senior Housing and volunteers held 2 Pryde Giveaway Days, donating books, furniture, laboratory and art supplies, computers and kitchen equipment to over 100 teachers, daycare providers, librarians, community organizations, churches and small businesses and neighbors, as part of readying the Rogers School for construction.

Mayor Wu, elected officials, and residents of Boston gathered in Hyde Park to break ground on The Pryde, Boston's first LGBTQ-friendly housing development for older Bostonians, creating 74 new mixed-income rental units and more than 10,000 square feet of community gathering space that will be welcoming to residents 62 and older.
